Party Pics As Promised

Can you believe it? Today, I'm happy to report that I'm knocking 3 things off of my bummed post from yesterday.

*I actually went out shopping and found some fall tops yesterday that I love. So yes, that's knocked off the list.

*Eric and I watched the season premier of Heroes last night. And we were in bed by 10:15. How lovely that was.

*I'm posting a few party pics. Yay for knocking things off the list.

And a few happy things to add:

* I learned how to make a ♥ by reading mR's blog. Thanks mR! ;)

*My abs are really sore today. I got home from shopping for said fall clothes and was really motivated to work out. So I did. And my abs are sore today. And I love that feeling.

Unfortunately, I'm still bummed that I didn't get to participate in the Last Scrapper Standing. Seeing everyone's amazing entries really makes me wish I would have made the time to do it. I may just do the challenge on my own one day, because I think it was a really cool idea.

Without further ado, a couple of party pics. The unfortunate thing about not taking the pics is that you end up in some. I tried to pick the ones that I was not in. ;)
*Cam with 2 of his cousins. Eric's brother's son and his sister's son. One with brown hair, one with blonde, one with red. LoL.

They all had a good time. We had the most kids we've ever had at a party. I think I counted 17. Tropical Depression Ten (thankfully) barely touched us. We had a couple of showers here and there, but no major rain.

Happy, happy rest of the week! The weekends almost here already. Can you believe that?

Bummed...

1. That blogging has been slacking.

2. That I missed the Last Scrapper Standing Volume 2 Contest :( Just too busy for scrapping.

3. That it is Wednesday and I have yet to post Cameron's birthday party pics. Soon. Maybe later today.

4. That I feel so outta touch with my girlahs. We're all busy, busy, I guess. :(

5. That I haven't had a lot of time to read other blogs and peruse SIS tv.

6. That I'm having serious issues finding fall clothes for myself. Jeans check. Cute shoes check. Shirts, sweaters, etc not so much.

7. That Eric and I have yet to find time to watch the new Heroes that played on Monday night. Do I see a pattern here? Busy busy.

But on happier notes, the party was a success. I think it was his favorite yet. It went on from about 4:00 Friday afternoon until like 11:30 Saturday night. He had a blast though.
On Monday, his actual birthday we took him to the INcredible Pizza Company. Lots of fun. For all. Puts Chuck E. Cheese to shame, I think.

Hopefully more later. I'm off to bring blondie to dancing. I'll try to share party pics this afternoon or tomorrow. Happy Wednesday!

Yet Again...

*Almost a week with no new posts. Time is flying. Every night I lay in bed and wonder where the day went. Seriously. In this case where the week went. Here it is almost Wednesday again.

*Cameron's pirate party is this Saturday. And apparently there may be a tropical storm/depression/hurricane in the gulf by then. And maybe heading this way. Poor Cam. Seriously, will the guy ever get a break with the birthday parties? Hurricanes, stormy weather @ go cart place, salmonella poisoning. Every year an adventure. We are praying for good weather and a good turn out.

*Today I was on my way to meet Eric at work and at a stop sign there was a man (who looked homeless) holding up a sign that read "Why lie? I need a beer." Seriously. My camera was sitting on the seat next to me and I soooo wanted to get a pic. But didn't have time. :(

*I bought a pair of these yesterday. They are so cute and so very comfortable.

*Bought 2 new pairs of jeans too.

*Have a fabulous mid-week. :)

Talkin Bout My Girl...

She started dancing today. The teacher said she did great. She's a little shy, but she did great. She's a lot shy, actually. But the fact that she participated and loved it makes my heart happy.

This last pic was one I took the other day when she was modeling her fall clothes. She would try them on and walk down what she calls the "kitty cat" walk. LoL.
Happy Thursday! :)

Where were You...

when the world stopped turning, on that September day? It's crazy that it's 9/11 today. Doesn't even feel like it really. I guess every year it will go by a little easier. Which is unfortunate really, because it's easy to forget that way. I'll always remember being home asleep when Eric called. I was 9 months pregnant. Cam was born 13 days later.

On another note, I am trying to be a better blogger. Really I am. I'm thinking though that I've lost all my readers on account of my lack of blogging and just general boring posts. LoL. I'll try to be better, I promise. Painting is unbelievable right now. I've never been busier than I am at this exact moment. And I'm at the computer blogging. LoL. A girl needs a break every now and then.

Payton and I went fall clothes shopping for her yesterday. My absolute favorite shopping of all. Fall clothes shopping for Payton. My favorite piece from yesterday? This owl shirt from Target. With brown leggings and gold metallic ballet flats to go with it. I could eat her up in that outfit. Really I could.

She starts dancing tomorrow. Sigh. It's gonna be crazy to drop her off and leave her somewhere that's not her Mimi's or Grandma's house. I'll be ok though. It'll all pay off to see her dancing on stage in May. And to have her showing off her dancing moves around the house.

Cameron is doing really good in school. Everytime I talk to his teacher, all she says is "He's just awesome. He's doing so well." Always a good thing. And his reading is really amazing. His reading has come so far since Kindergarten.

Happy Tuesday...........

Long Time, No Blog

I know this. Sorry. I know that you come hear everyday anticipating extremely exciting events to read about. LoL. Yeah, well sorry. We're not so exciting. The entire weekend was spent painting and repainting our dining room. And did I mention that the living room's next? Yeah. What started out as repainting our bedroom has now turned into our bedroom, hallway leading to our bedroom, dining room and next living room and that hallway. Ambitious folks we are. I'm ready to be finished.
Cameron's birthday party is coming in a couple of weeks, so at least that gives us a goal to finish by. That way folks aren't coming into a halfway painted house. I really like how the dining room turned out. I would promise pics, but we all know that I'm not so good at delivering the pics.

We had a nice labor day weekend. Mostly spent in the dining room. See above. But Jenny and Ali came in and we hung out with them and mom and Becky quite a bit. Eric grilled some meat from Nunu's. LoL. And did I mention that I found some vases for our room there? Apparently not only do they have wonderful meat products but also home decorating items. Strange. There's an interior shop that brings items to them to try and sell. I guess more people shop at Nunu's then her store?

And before I wrap up, I must wish a very Happy Birthday to my fellow girlah, mG. Such a talented scrapper, peeps. Seriously. Hope your day is wonderful. :)

On to Jr. High!
